A removable insulation blanket is a custom-fabricated, reusable cover that laces onto valves, flanges, fittings, exhausts, and turbines. It comes off for inspection or maintenance and reinstalls in minutes — no demolition. Yes — generator exhaust is one of our specialties. We insulate exhaust piping, silencers, mufflers, and clean emission modules on emergency, standby, and fire-pump generators, using ceramic fiber insulation with a 2190°F classification temperature finished in aluminum jacketing, or removable SpartaShield blankets where components need service access. It depends on the system type, pipe or duct size, insulation material and thickness, jacketing, and site conditions. Pipe insulation is usually priced per linear foot and equipment or valve covers per piece. A set of removable blankets can be measured and installed within a week. Larger commercial projects run from several weeks to several months depending on scope. You’ll get a schedule with every estimate.
